ITR Filing in 3 Simple Steps | All India ITR | Income Tax Refunds

Did you miss filing returns for the last two Financial Years? Then now is your last chance to file Income Tax Returns for the last two years on 31^st March 2018, as it is last date to file your returns.

Here are the three easy steps using which you can file your ITR by 31^st March: -

·        You will have to register to E-filing Portal of the IT Department.

You can register to the e-filing website using your PAN and date of birth. Your PAN will be used as your user ID for e-filing ofITR. On the registration page, you will be asked to setup your password and security questions, in case you forget your password, you can retrieve your password using these questions.

·        You will have to prepare and submit ITR

You can do this either online or offline. Before you prepare the ITR, you will have to view your tax credit statement or Form 26AS as it contains details of tax deducted on behalf of you. The details you file in the ITR must match with the details you have provided in your Form 16/16A and Form 26AS.

·        E-verify your return

You can verify your uploaded return using electronic verification code (EVC) or Aadhaar OTP or digital signature certificate.

So, hurry up and file your Income Tax Returns as soon as possible.
